Kellie Martin. Martin, a native of the United States is an American actor and actress in the film and television industries. Her most well-known role is for her roles as Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher as well as Lucy Knight on the series ER. Other notable roles include the lead role in The Hailey Dean Mystery series. Martin was the daughter of a department shop buyer and a kindergarten instructor. Her first acting experience was as a child at the age of seven. her aunt, who was a nanny in Michael Landon's household, assisted Martin get a part as a guest star on the 1982 television series Father Murphy. She began acting professionally after graduating Yale University. This led to her landing a variety of part-time roles in the TV and film industry. Martin, besides acting, she is also an accomplished photographer and dancer. Her sister who passed away from Lupus at age 19, inspired her to become the Lupus the national spokesperson.
